Dickinson Travel has been serving travelers of all kinds in the southeast Texas area since 1982. The current owner, Gwen Bourgeois, began travel school in the late 70's in Santa Anna, California after graduating from Hackberry High School in Louisiana and has truly enjoyed being in the travel industry ever since. She worked for other agencies after moving to Texas and was so good at her job that people asked her why she did not have her own agency. A dream was born and she was able to take over Dickinson Travel in 1992. Dickinson Travel has built it's business by providing excellent customer service and still has many of the same clients from the beginning of the agency!!

Kim Plummer has been at the agency for 8 years. For several years she enjoyed the excellent services of Dickinson Travel as a happy client. She has four children, and when her twin boys started going to Mother's Day Out very close to the agency, she realized she really wanted to join the agency and help others get the same special treatment as she got over the years. This is her dream job and loves helping her clients create lifelong travel memories.

The newest edition to the team is Charlene Sisk. She was in the travel industry for many years working for an agency in Oklahoma. She then went to work for one of the cruise lines, but she yearned to be back at an agency giving highly personal, detailed service to individuals, families, and groups. Her experience at the cruise lines has given her lots of insight and knowledge about the best ways to give her clients the best service possible.
